Six pilgrims die in Kamala River

SARLAHI, Aug 5: Six pilgrims were died after they were swept away by the swollen Kamala River in Sindhuli on Monday morning.



According to our correspondent Santosh Singh, six pilgrims, including four women, were swept away by the Kamala River while crossing it on their way towards Chandanpur from Gaagan of Sindhuli.



Except Ramkali Chamar from Sarlahi, identifications of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, police officials said. It is learnt that other 10 are still missing in the River. The locals, police and Army personnels have been conducting the rescue operation.
