Twenty-five-year-old Basante Sarki, 25, of Shitalpati Village Development Committee (VDC)-2 of Sankhuwasabha died of khukuri attack. Sitaram Khadka of the same VDC attacked Sarki with a khukuri.
Khadka bounced at him with a khukuri after the internal rift escalated, police said while quoting eye-witness. Khadka and Sarki were engaged in a brawl in Khandbari bazaar.
Similarly, Purnamaya Limbu, 55, died after she was swept away by the flood in the Khahare stream that flows through Diktel bazaar, according to central police news room.
Roshan, the six-year-old son of Subas Koli of Dasharath Municipality-12, Sera died being buried when his house got dismantled. Likewise, a woman was electrocuted in Sandhikharka-3, Jayaneta of Arghakhanchi. Both the incidents occurred on Friday night.
Meanwhile, Chandra Kumari Magar, 55, of Rampur Thoksila VD-1 died after being struck by lightning, according to our correspondent in Udayapur.
Similarly, a jeep en route to Jaljale from Gaighat hit five-year-old Ashok Rai in Motigada Chowk, leaving him dead.
Driver and jeep have been taken under control, said police.
