LAHAN, Dec 29: Two people were killed in separate incidents in Siraha along the East-West Highway last night.
Chhattulal Kurmi, 65, of Kajarnha-7 died after his motorcycle in motion was hit by a Bolero jeep at Kajarnha-6. A Bolero jeep (Ba 3 Cha 3470) hit his motorcycle (Sa 3 Pa 3920), leaving him seriously injured. He breathed his last while being taken to Biratnagar for treatment, the District Police Office (DPO), Siraha said.

Similarly, motorcyclist Sharan Thakuri, 30, of Dhangadhimai Municipality-10 died when his vehicle was hit head-on by a tractor (Na 4 Ta 7055) at Dhangadhimai Municipality-1 at around 9:00 pm Wednesday.
Thakuri, seriously injured in the incident, breathed his last while being taken to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for treatment, the DPO Siraha said. RSS
