The team had also inspected Padma Drinking Water Company at Sitapaila, but returned after collecting samples of its bottled water for laboratory test.
Likewise, the team confiscated 27 liters of vegetable oil and 35 kilogram of vegetable ghee from Season Enterprises from Balaju.
“These products seized from Season Enterprise had no proper label on them,” said Koirala. The team has asked the company owner to apper before the department with clarification within three days.
Commenting on the progress of the market inspection activities, Koirala said, “It was found that the stores that earlier did not maintain proper hygiene in the kitchen have started doing so and many of them were also found to be displaying price-list.”
