With the result, unbeaten Boys Union moved one spot up to the second position with 20 points, two points behind leader Samajik Club. Second-placed Boys Union and third-placed Tushal with 19 points have played 10 matches apiece while leader Samajik has played 11 matches.
On Monday, Binod Lama rescued Boys Union hitting the equalizer in the 45th minute. Earlier, Sabal Baniya had given lead to Shree Kumari in the 39th minute.
In another match, Swayambhu Club beat Satdobato Youth Club 7-1 to earn the highest margin victory in the league. Rabin Limbu completed a hat-trick for Swayambhu scoring in the 24th, 56th and 57th minutes and Curfew Rasaili netted a brace in the 33rd and 49th minutes. Anjan Lakhaju and Shankhar Shrestha achieved the target in the 18th and 54th minutes. Bijay Ghalan hit the consolation goal for Satdobato in the injury time during the first half.
Following the win, Swayambhu leapfrogged four spots up to the fifth position with 15 points in its kitty while Satdobato remained unchanged in the 10th place with 11 points. Both Satdobato and Swayambhu have played 10 matches each.
