Dinesh Hemjan netted for Shree Kumari in either half to help his team beat United Youth Club 3-2. Hemjan scored in the 18th and 49th minutes. Tirtha Lama scored the second goal for Shree Kumari in the 26th minute. Bibhushan KC and Nakesh Raut scored one each for United in the 20th and 51st minutes. [break]
The win secured Shree Kumari´s position at the top of the table for at least 24 hours. Unbeaten in three matches Shree Kumari has seven points in its kitty. United lies in the 10th place with three points.
Mahabir defeated Kathmandu Club 2-1 in another match of the day. Amir Sunuwar put Mahabir ahead in the 43rd minute but Kathmandu hit back the equalizer a minute later through Ashis Lama. Bivek Lama ensured victory for Mahabir four minutes before the final whistle with the second goal.
Mahabir´s first win in two matches lifted the team with three points to seventh place while Kathmandu Club is yet to open its account in the points table and lies in the 10th position.
Meanwhile, Birgunj Youth Academy edged past Satdobato Youth Club with both goals coming in the second half. Rabi Kumar Paswan opened the scoring for Birgunj in the 54th minute and Chaturdhan Chaudhary doubled the tally in the 77th minute.
Birgunj climbed five spots up to fourth with four points from a win and a draw. Satdobato lies in the ninth place with three points after playing two matches.
