Koirala said that the NC was telling the Maoists for implementing all the agreements from 12-point to 7-point.[break]
"Are the agreements only for NC and UML? Is the Maoist party free to violate all the deals?" he questioned.
Speaking at a programme organized to mark the second death anniversary of former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala, the NC president said that the NC will leave no stone unturned to complete the ongoing peace process.
"Seven-point agreement is the final agreement," a stubborn Koirala said.
Koirala charged that Maoist party´s chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal´s dual characters were to blame for slow progress in peace and constitution.
On the occasion, NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel said remaining tasks of the army integration could not be advanced by going beyond the seven-point agreement.
He was of the opinion that the Maoist party should be serious to complete the tasks of peace and constitution for being the single largest party in the Constituent Assembly (CA).
Similarly, Vice-chairperson of CPN (UML) Bidya Bhandari questioned what would have been the situation if the NC and UML had challenged the CA elections results.
She said that peace and constitution writing processes were in crisis due to the Maoists´ greed for arms.
However, Maoist politburo member Chandra Prakash Khanal said that peace process was not stalled due to Maoists´ stance. "A high-level consensus is needed to accomplish the remaining tasks of peace process and constitution writing."
