Kathmandu, Oct 5: Seven people were found dead in separate incidents across four districts, including Kathmandu, on Friday and Saturday.
In Kathmandu Metropolitan City-14, Balkhu, 44-year-old Som Bahadur Syangtang of Makwanpur was found dead inside his rented room at Chundevi Guest House, where he had been staying since September 27.
Similarly, in Kathmandu-15, Swoyambhu, 35-year-old Raju Tamang of Dolakha’s Sailung-2 was discovered dead in his rented room near Buddha Park.
In Darchula’s Byas-1, Rakam, 48-year-old Jitman Chaudhary of Dang’s Ghorahi-11 was found dead near the Tinkar stream, while in Mahakali-4, Bangabagar, 36-year-old Devendra Kami of Laske, Mahakali-1, was found dead on the banks of the Mahakali River.
In Panchthar’s Tumbewa-2, Bharlini, 57-year-old Dev Kumar Rai of Bhalkhop was discovered dead near a local stream.
In Dang, two separate deaths were reported: an unidentified woman, estimated to be around 65 years old, was found dead in the Rapti River at Rapti-1, Bhaluwang, while 52-year-old Krishna Pariyar of Gadhwa-2, Takuratol, was found dead near a foot trail close to his home.
Police said investigations into all incidents are ongoing.
