SCBNL, Qatar Airways sign pact

KATHMANDU, Sept 2: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Ltd (SCBNL) has signed an agreement with Qatar Airways for a business tie up for its 'Priority Clients'.



Issuing a press release, the bank said its 'Priority Clients' will get 7 percent discount from Qatar Airways while flying in Economy Class and 10 percent discount while flying in Business Class.

"This forms an exclusive savings on tickets from Kathmandu to over 151 diversified destinations throughout the world with Qatar's ever-growing global network," reads the release.


"In this process, Qatar Airways and the bank will be launching a special CUG (closed user-group page) which can be accessed online or from the airlines city office by the Bank's Priority Banking card holders."


According to the release, Standard Chartered Priority Clients and their companions will be allowed to check-in at the local airport through the Business Class counter irrespective of whether or not the passenger holds a Business Class ticket.
