SBI opens 23rd branch

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Nepal SBI Bank opened its 23rd branch at Maharajgunj, Kathmandu on Tuesday.



Balkrishna Shrestha, chairman of board of directors of the bank inaugurated the branch. The newly opened branch is offering deposit, loan and remittance service to the people of surrounding areas, said a press release issued by the bank.



The release also stated the bank is also opening three more branches in the Kathmandu Valley and six outside the valley. The new planned branches will be located in Kalanki, Bhaktapur, New Baneshore, Surkhet, Ghorahi, Tamghas, Tansen, Itahari and Ilam.
