Meanwhile, Region No 8 (Pokhara) ended its journey defeating Region No 7 (Janakpur) by 89 runs.
In Group B match at the Pulchowk Engineering Ground, Bhairahawa chased 228 runs target in 47.3 overs losing six wickets. Antim Thapa (68) and Saurav (53) completed half centuries to chase the fighting total. Antim and Saurav shared a 104-run partnership for the sixth wickets.
Nirmal Thapa (29), Nishchal Chaudhary (23) and Faizal Khan (19) were other major run contributors for Bhairahawa.
Lal Singh Bhandari bagged three wickets and Ravi Bhatt claimed two wickets but failed to pull a win for Dhangadhi that had lost its opener by seven wickets against Region No 6 (Baitadi).

Earlier, batting first, Dhangadhi managed 227/9 in allotted 50 overs after seven players contributed in double figures.
Dipendra Chand (37), Prakash Thapa (27), Sunil Dhamala (25), Binod Lama (24), Lalit Singh (24), Bhim Sarki (21) and Roman Bam (20) scored runs in double digits to help Dhangadi put a fighting total.
However, man-of-the-match Saurav, who completed half century, also bagged three wickets for Bhairahawa. Bishnu Pandey also pocketed equal number of wickets.
In Group A’s last encounter at the Tribhuvan University Ground, Kirtipur, Pokhara posted 272/6 and restricted Janakpur to 183 runs in 41.2 overs. Both the teams were already out from the race of knockout stage.
Hari Shankar Sah (58) completed half century for Janakpur but it went in vain. Himanshu Dutt added 21 runs.
Sushil Kandel picked up four wickets and Santosh Upadhyaya took three wickets to restrict Janakpur on low run.
It was the second win for Pokhara while Janakpur was sent packing without opening account in the standings losing all five group matches.
