In the seven-over reduced match, Sainik won the toss and scored 104 runs losing five wickets. Opener Kiran Shrestha scored quick 32 runs off 25 balls with two boundaries. Roshan Khatri was not out with 19 runs off 21 balls including a six and a boundary. [break]
Bish Babu Adhikari and Umanga Pradhan shared a wicket each for the host AVM as three of the Sainik players were run out.
In chasing the target of 104, AVM was restricted in just 80 runs losing eight wickets. Sujan Basnet took two wickets while Abhishek Katwal, Ayush Thapa and Milan Karki shared a wicket each.
Bishwojeet Shah was the highest scorer for the losing team with 21 runs off 19 balls with a boundary. Adhikari was not out at 10 runs off 15 balls. They were the only two batsmen of AVM who reached the double digit score.
Sujan Basnet of Sainik, who received player-of-the-final, also bagged the best batsman award. Umanga Pradhan of AVM was adjudged the best bowler while Prakash Bista from EPS was named man-of-the-series of the tournament for his all-round performance.
