Safrubeshi-Langtang trek route opens

KATHMANDU, June 14: A 15-km trek route along the Syafrubeshi-Langtang road section which was blocked following a landslide was opened on Sunday.

The Nepal Army removed the landslide detritus from Ghodatabela to Langtang to open the route today, said NA Directorate of Public Relations. The national army is still continuing the search for Nepali and foreign nationals in Langtang valley of Rasuwa who went missing after the calamitous earthquake which struck on April 25.The NA is continuing the search and rescue work at Taplejung and Sankhuwasabha affected by the landslide and supplying relief materials to the victims. The army rescued 11 persons from Taplejung and 63 from Sankhuwasabha on the same day. RSS
