KATHMANDU, March 18 : Sakchyam Access to Finance Programme (SAFP) -- an initiative funded by UK government and implemented by Louis Berger in collaboration with local and international institutions -- has opened its first satellite office in Amargadhi of Dadeldhura district.

Speaking at the office inauguration ceremony, Baljit Vohra, team leader of SAFP, said, "We are pleased to launch Sakchyam's office in Dadeldhura.
Through the office, we will continue to introduce innovative products and services to improve access to finance in the region."According to Vohra, the primary area of focus will be on working with and supporting wholesale lending for cooperatives in the area, facilitating financing in different stages of value chain, and increasing the outreach of banks and financing institutions in the region.
