By bringing together diverse crafts groups from across the SAARC countries, the collection celebrates unity, pride and regional cooperation through collective marketing, the statement read.

SABAH is a movement that connects, shapes, and strengthens home based producers of all SAARC countries.

The models allow women to market collectively and replace the chain of middle-men between the producer and market thereby increasing their earnings, their skills and their visibility, the statement added.

SABAH is supported by the SAARC Development Fund (SDF).

As part of its collective marketing initiative, the SABAH store will showcase a collection from the entire SAARC region providing an opportunity for crafts connoisseurs to appreciate and buy unique crafts from SAARC countries in single location.

Craft products like ´baluchi´ embroidery from Afghanistan, crochet work from Nepal, ´multani´ embroidery from Pakistan, mirror and patch work from Gujarat and back strap woven products from Bhutan among others are available at the store.
