Pokharel was of the view that the Maoists must seek public apology for claiming that all would be settled after Nepal´s resignation.
“The Maoists must help in reinstating the present government and seek apology to the public,” he said at a program organized by ANNFSU, Rupandehi, in Butwal.
He claimed that the country will not get a better leadership than that of Madhav Nepal as he ran the government in the most challenging times. He said it is surprising that those leaders who said consensus would come once the prime minister resigned are now keeping mum.
Stating that only demands will not generate consensus, he pointed the need to develop trust among the political parties.
