Republica journo injured in clashes

KATHMANDU, March 19: Our correspondent Arpan Shrestha sustained head injuries after being hit by stones thrown by students of Maoist-affiliated students´ union who were attacking police, Thursday. Shrestha was taking photographs of the clashes when he was struck on his forehead. Students of the Maoist-affiliated union clashed with police several times at Bagbazar Thursday. Shrestha was admitted to Kathmandu Model Hospital for treatment. He was given stitches to treat the wound.
