According to a press statement issued by the Nepal embassy in Tokyo, doctors at University of Tokyo Hospital have indicated the president could be diagnosed by Monday.
A team of doctors and specialists under the supervision of Professor Toshiaki Watanabe, who is also the Vice-Director of the world renowned centre of medical excellence, is involved in the treatment of Yadav. In light of available medical reports, Yadav is expected to get further consultations on Monday from the team of medical experts and a decision on further course would be decided.
The president was flown to Tokyo for further diagnosis and treatment after a black spot was detected in his large intestine. He has been admitted to the University of Tokyo Hospital since June 18.
The government had decided to send him to Tokyo for treatment as per the recommendation of the medical board.
