Relief distribution

Red Cross volunteers distributing sums of Rs 10,000 to buy warm clothing to earthquake victims in Tanglichowk VDC in Gorkha district on Sunday. Various donor agencies including the Red Cross, Oxfam, Care Nepal, World Vision, Caritas and Save the Children have been distributing cash, clothing and bedding in 20 out of the 60 VDCs in the district. However, the government-pledged Rs 10,000 in winter allowance per victim family has not yet reached the VDCs of the district. (NARAHARI SAPKOTA)
