Prez Paudel administers oath to five newly-appointed ambassadors

KATHMANDU, Dec 23: President Ram Chandra Paudel on Monday administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly-appointed ambassadors for various countries.

In a ceremony held at the Office of the President, the newly-appointed Ambassador to Russia Jung Bahadur Chauhan; Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Chandra Kumar Ghimire; Ambassador to Spain, Shanil Nepal; Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Dr Shivamaya Tumbahangphe; and Ambassador to the Republic of India, Dr Shankar Prasad Sharma were administered the oath of office and secrecy by the President.

According to the Office of the President, the high-ranking officials of the Nepal government were also present on the occasion.
