Addressing a workers training program organized by the CPN-UML, Kanchanpur, he said situation is such that we cannot expect anything from the present government.[break]
He said that the CPN-UML has been playing a positive role in the processes of peace and constitution even from outside the government, and added that it will not make any difference even if a coalition government is not formed.
Indicating to the UCPN (Maoist), he said it was not certain where the Maoist would fall in a trap, as it was continually sliding down.
The Maoist has already left out its ideology, the UML leader said, adding the ‘Prachandapath’ is just a ball of ice. It has been insulting and neglecting its own workers who had fought in the people’s war, he said.
Oli asked what they gained other than to suffer and added there is no possibility of the Maoists returning to conflict, for which, no national, international or party condition was favourable.
He urged his party workers not to engage in factionalism, saying it will not do good to anyone.
