Police confiscate 510 kilograms of marijuana in Hetauda

HETAUDA, Oct 9: Police confiscated 510 kilograms of marijuana hidden in the Simpani forest at Manahari area on the Hetauda-Narayanghat road section on Tuesday morning.

Police suspect that the contraband was being smuggled towards Thodi, Parsa district via a short-cut route through the forest.[break]

Meanwhile, the District Police Office, Makwanpur has dispatched a team towards Rasirang, kakada and Sarikhet Palase areas to destroy the illegal hemp cultivation in these areas.
