Pokhara sub metropolitan official arrested on bribery

POKHARA, April 9: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Thursday afternoon arrested an official of Pokhara Sub Metropolitan City on charge of taking bribe.

Bharat Raj Poudel was arrested while taking Rs 10,000 as bribe from service seeker Nepal Bhusan Thapa.

Thapa said the official was turning deaf ear over divorce complaint filed some one year now as he was demanding a bribe.
