Soon after the inspection, Koirala held a discussion with local security bodies and disaster management officials. During the discussion, Koirala also appreciated the role played by the government officials in managing the crisis. He also directed officials to 'leave no stone unturned' in rescue and rehabilitation efforts of the victims.
"Our country is technically not well-equipped in disaster management. I request every officials to leave no stone unturned as per our capacity", said Koirala.
Koirala said that there is urgency to establish a separate fund even by requesting the international communities to cope with the calamities.
During the visit Koirala also held discussion with representatives of various political parties. Responding to a query by the representatives, Koirala said that no Nepalis were left behind from the access of relief materials.
"The home where I live has also fully cracked, you can come and check. There is nothing than to accept tragedies caused by the earthquake.
Koirala today itself is scheduled to leave for Listi, a bordering area of Tibet and get back to Kathmandu in the evening.
