Riding on seven goals of Rupa Malla PLA, PLA blue hammered Western Region 11-1 to emerge group winners. Ranjita Baraili added two goals and Nitu Pariyar and Janaki Magar scored one each for the winning side. [break]
In another match, Central Region thrashed Far Western Region 4-0. Shashi Basnet scored a brace while Yashoda Thokar and Anjali Waiba netted one each.
In another group match held at ANFA Complex, Satdobato, Eastern Region defeated Mid Western Region 1-0. Sapana Kunwar scored the only goal of the match.
In men´s section, Workers Martyrs Memorial Club (WMMC) became the first team to secure semifinal berth. Jeevan Sinkeman scored two goals for WMMC as they came from behind with 2 goals deficit to beat Eastern Region 3-2.
Eastern had taken a two-goal lead in the first half. In course of coming from behind Jeevan scored first in the 43rd minute and leveled the scoring in the 74th minute through a penalty. WMMC were awarded with the penalty after an opponent player fouled Jeevan in the danger zone. Rubin Shrestha scored the winner one minute later to break the deadlock.

The hosts PLA ´red´ have already crashed out from the title race.
In another match, Western Region outplayed Far Western Region 4-1. Bishnu KC, Rajan Adhikari, Pushpa Chhetri and Nirajan Malla scored one goal each for the triumphant team.
Volleyball
Workers Martyrs Memorial Club (WMMC) and Central Region have set the semifinal date under men´s volleyball while Western Region will take on Far Western Region in another semifinal.
WMMC, Central and Western won their last league round matches respectively to secure semifinal spots.
The day remained mixed for WMMC as they won one and lost another match. They lost 22-25, 20-25, 25-21, 20-25 to Western and beat Mid Western 25-22, 25-20, 21-25, 25-20. Western topped group ´B´.
To finish winners of group ´A´ Central beat Eastern 25-18, 25-22, 20-25, 25-18. Far Western are the runners-up of the group.
Under women´s volleyball, PLA ´red´ and Central secured semifinal berths as the winners and runners-up from group ´A.´ PLA beat Eastern 25-16, 25-15, 23-25, 25-23 and Central beat Mid Western 25-11, 25-17, 25-18.
