The union has demanded eight hours of work, provision of weekly leave, permanency of laborers who worked over 240 days including others.

Regional chair of the union Gobinda Prasad Rijal said the workers would resume their duties if the petroleum dealers were positive toward union´s demands.
Speaking at a press meet Rijal said they were obliged to announce protest programs despite their ultimatum to the dealers.
