Chief Executive Officer of the bank Radhesh Pant said the facility will be available online by September end. Vouchers for the payment will be available at all member consultancies of ECAN and can be used at any branch of the bank. Applicants will have to meet certain criteria to be able to use the online system.
The bank will update the applicant´s information and registration forms on the web site, which will be available for immediate viewing by testing agencies concerned all over the world. President of ECAN Uttam Prasad Pant said the system will help to regulate the procedure of registration and also save time. “We will be collaborating with the bank in the future as well,” said Pant.
The official bank of ECAN, Kumari Bank Ltd has also provided funds to ECAN for its new office premises at the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Kathmandu. The office was inaugurated by Malaysian ambassador to Nepal Dato´ Ilankovan Kolandavelu on Wednesday.
ECAN is a non-profit organization with over 190 members. The organization recently held its 3rd Educational Fair 2009 in Kathmandu on August 13-16.
