KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Nepali Congress (NC) Vice President Ram Chandra Paudel held a meeting with CPN-UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal at the latter’s residence in Dallu on Wednesday morning.
During the meeting, Paudel , who is also a prime ministerial candidate from the NC, asked Khanal to help keep current democratic alliance intact. Paudel claimed that Khanal is positive about his request. [break]
According to sources close to Paudel, Khanal has assured him to put the matter in the ongoing central committee meeting of the party. “The CC meeting will decide the party’s position in the next round of voting for PM,” the source quoted Khanal as saying.
