Organized by Nepa~laya, the Paleti series, a micro musical event series, started in 2005 in an attempt to resurrect Nepali Adhunik music and its audience.

As the narrator narrated the story from Aavaas’s perspective about how the series started and the various ups and downs while managing the event, the singer started the evening with “Marnu Baru Garo Hunna”, a classic song by veteran singer Phatteman.

Along with Aavaas, singers Suraj and Meena also sang songs of the singers who have performed over the years in the series during the event.

Nepa~laya is also set to celebrate an annual music festival, “Paleti Utsav” to mark the 10 year long journey with Nepali Adhunik Music from August 9 to 12, 2012.

The festival will feature four revered artistes of Nepal; Ambar Gurung , Phatteman, Shanti Thatal, and Aavaas.
