Pakistan defeats Nepal by 110 runs in warm-up match

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: Pakistan defeated Nepal by 110 runs in a warm-up match of the ICC U-19 World Cup in Bangladesh on Saturday.

Pakistan posted 292-run target losing seven wickets after Nepal won the toss and elected to field first.

Sandeep Lamichhane of Nepal took three wickets, while Sushil Kandel and Prem Tamang grabbed two wickets each.

Zeeshan Malik was top scorer for Pakistan. He made 83 runs off 85 balls smashing 12 fours and two sixes.

Chasing the commendable target, Nepal managed to get only 181 runs losing nine wickets in the stipulated 50 overs.

Dipendra Singh Airee made 42 runs, while  Aarif Sheikh and Raju Rijal contributed 35 and 28 runs respectively.
