DHANKUTA, March 8: One electrocuted to death while another injured here in Basantatar VDC-1 of the district on Sunday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Nirmaya Magar, 25. She received electric shocks as she was plugging mobile charger.
Saru Magar,16, who injured in the incident, is undergoing treatment at B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences.
According to technicians, the incident occurred due to transmission of high-voltage power to households.
Meanwhile, seven houses here in the VDC have caught fire after their meter boxes went off due to transmission of high-voltage power to households.
