The unidentified victim was traveling in the bus (Na.4.Kha) heading towards Kathmandu from Dhankuta when it collided with a truck (Na.3.Kha. 5357) at 2 a.m. on Thursday, said the Makawanpur police.[break]
The injured 18 passengers are being treated at Bharatpur Hospital.
Police have arrested the bus driver Dev Krishna Maharjan of Hetauda Municipility-1 in this connection.
Likewise eight passengers of a bus (Na.4 Kha.786) heading to Kathmandu from Birgunj were injured when their bus rammed into a truck (Na.3 Kha. 5357) at the same road section last night.
The injured have been taken to Chitawan Teaching Hospital, said the Manhari Area police.
