NPC Vice-chairman Kshetry quits

KATHMANDU, April 22: Vice Chairman of National Planning Commission (NPC) Deependra Bahadur Kshetry has tendered his resignation from the post. “I have resigned to help government execute its functions efficiently ,”Kshetry said.



He is submitting his resignation letter to Chairman of interim election government Khilraj Regmi at around 4 pm, today.[break]



Kshetry, a former governor of Nepal Rastra Bank, was appointed as NPC vice-chairman by Baburam Bhattarai-led government.
