The deceased was identified as 43-year-old Singh Bahadur, reported The Hindu.
The Nepali resident, who worked as security guard for a private enterprise, was on duty when the incident took, added a police officer.
“A case of murder has been registered and investigation has been taken up. Prima facie it seems to be a case of personal rivalry,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) Vikramjit Singh.
The police are checking CCTV grabs from all premises near the crime spot. Several persons have been questioned in connection with the incident. However, the identity of the shooters is yet to be ascertained, said the officer.
