According to WYFF News website, Rabindra Sharma, 40, who was a co-owner of the store, was killed along with a Mexican citizen.
Sharma was moaning and holding his abdomen when police reached the store. He was taken to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center where he later died, the news site quoted police as saying.
Krishna Kandel, the other Nepali partner of the store, told the website that he and his partner just took over ownership of the property in July. "(Our) friendship is like more than 20 years,” Kandel said. “We (graduated) college together, from Nepal. (He was a) very nice man."
He got a call from the police while he was sleeping Wednesday night, Kandel said. He called the deaths “very sad,” and said he is now scared to go back to work.
"I think about (it) sometimes, robbery,” Kandel said. “But (I) never think about, like, (death.)”
Other victim Gumaro Gonzales Bravo, 35, started at the store about three or four weeks ago, Kandel said.
