KATHMANDU, Oct 8: Nepal has won the five-match bilateral T20 series against Malaysia.
By defeating Malaysia by 5 wickets, Nepal clinched the series title. On Wednesday, chasing a target of 104 runs set by Malaysia, Nepal achieved the target in 18 overs. Rubi Podar scored 26 runs, and Pooja Mahto contributed 23 runs for Nepal.
Earlier, Malaysia, opting to bat after winning the toss, posted a total of 103 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Malaysia's captain, Winifred Duraisingham, top-scored with 40 runs.
For Nepal, Kavita Kunwar and Rajmati Airee took 3 wickets each.
