Kafle said media reports linking the alleged developments to Inspector General of Police Dan Bahadur Karki were fabricated and misleading, adding that such content should not be believed.

Nepal Police remains committed to discharging its constitutional and legal duties without deviation, he said.

He further said the fabricated reports were intended to create confusion about the image, professionalism and performance of Nepal Police.

Kafle also warned that those involved in undermining the security agency's image, dragging it into controversy or acting against the government would face investigation and legal action.
