Opener Subash Khakurel (13), Sagar Pun (15), skipper Paras Khadka (5), Basanta Regmi (12), Sharad Vesawakar (4) and Pradeep Aire (11) also contributed to Nepal´s total. Jitendra Mukhiya remained unbeaten on two runs while Shakti Gauchan did not open his account.
Karan Thakur and Hitesh Kadam claimed three wickets each for Indian Railways. Shamshul Huda claimed two and Prashant Awasthi picked up one wicket.
In the run chase, Indian Railways could manage only 132 despite Hemant Singh´s 82 off 64. Singh was caught by Malla in 19.4 overs. Pankaj Chaudhary (25) was the only other batsman to reach double figures.
Nepal´s Gauchan and Bhattarai claimed two wickets each while Jitendra Mukhiya and Khadka shared a wicket each.
Nepal will play its next match against Invitational XI at the Bharatnagar Academy ground on Monday.
The Nepali team is in India to prepare for the World T20 Qualifiers to be held in the United Arab Emirates in November and the ICC World Cup Qualifiers scheduled for January 2014 in New Zealand.
