KATHMANDU, Nov 30: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced power cuts in various areas of Kathmandu today. The NEA in a notice stated that electricity will be interrupted in several locations under the Maharajgunj Distribution Center.
According to the NEA, power will be cut from 10 AM to 2 PM today in areas under the Basundhara feeder of the Maharajgunj Distribution Center, including Bansbari, Chakrapath, Samakhushi, Tokha Road, Greenland Chowk and Grande Hospital.
The NEA said the power cut is necessary for the expansion and maintenance of the NEA's electrical lines in those areas. The NEA has apologized for the inconvenience caused to customers due to the power interruption.
