NC worker abducted

SIRAHA, May 13: An unknown armed group has abducted 62-year old Bal Krishna Yadav, a Nepali Congress Mahasamiti member, from his home at Sothiyain-1.



The group of around 12 gunmen kidnapped Yadav from his residence early Thursday morning. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the abduction.



Before snatching away Yadav, the group also looted Yadav´s property worth Rs 50,000. Nepali Congress and its sister organizations in Siraha have demanded immediate release of Yadav.
