A meeting of the parties held at PM Madhav Kumar Nepal’s residence at Baluwatar on Thursday morning discussed on the implementation of the three-point agreement reached on May 28.[break]
On May 28 midnight, the three main parties signed the three-point agreement to extend the terms of the Constituent Assembly (CA) and to pave the way for the formation of the national unity government.
The parties concluded that Maoist should be honest enough to implement the six-point agenda sorted out earlier which includes combatant management, return of seized properties and disbanding paramilitary structure of Young Communist League.
The two parties are scheduled to hold a meeting with the Maoist later in the afternoon.
A Maoist standing committee meeting is scheduled for 1 p.m. The meeting is said to come up with detailed work plan for the combatant management.
