KATHMANDU, April 23: The main opposition Nepali Congress has decided to continue disrupting parliament meetings until the government withdraws its action against the army chief.

"Since the issue has not been settled yet, we won´t let the House enter its regular business, and we will protest the government´s move in the House," said NC leader Prakash Sharan Mahat, after a parliamentary party meeting.

He said that the Nepali Congress would also hold talks with other parties to continue collectively protesting the government action against the army chief that was initiated, he said, with a clear intention to dismiss the chief from office.
