It is said that Koirala and Oli have agreed to reject the proposal floated by the UCPN (Maoist) to end the present stalemate unless Prime Minister Bhattarai resigns from the post.
Both the leaders shared a common view on either reinstating the dissolved Constituent Assembly (CA) or holding fresh elections only after resignation of the Prime Minister, Pokhrel said.
Koirala and Oli held discussion today after the political parties had agreed to take initiatives to end the stalemate by September 15.
Talking to media persons after the meeting, Oli said they discussed about the ways to find out a solution of political and constitutional crises.
