The district has two electoral constituencies. Meanwhile, the Sarlahi district committee of the party has unanimously nominated Amresh Kumar Singh for constituency number 6 of the district. Likewise former minister Purna Bahadur Khadka has nominated as the party´s candidate from constituency number 1 of Surkhet and Bimlendra Nidhi from constituency number 3 of Dhanusha.
