PANCHTHAR, June 29: Nepali Congress candidate Bam Lawati is ahead of CPN-UML candidate Jaya Chemjong in the race for the chief of Kumyayak Rural Municipality in Panchthar district.
Lawati has garnered 369 votes while his nearest rival Chemjong has obtained 325 votes.
CPN(Maoist Center) candidate Tara Kunwar is in the third position in the race for the chief of Kumyayak Rural Municipality.
