National league outside capital

KATHMANDU, Oct 16: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) is planning to host the A division national league outside the capital from December 17, a month later than the date published in its annual calendar.



ANFA is preparing to host the national league outside the capital as the Dasharath Stadium and Halchowk ground need to be repaired for the AFC Challenge Cup slated to be held in Nepal. [break]



"It is not possible to conduct the national league on grounds other than Dasharath Stadium and Halchowk ground, thus we are preparing to conduct the league outside the capital," a highly placed ANFA source told Republica.



Earlier, the league was scheduled for November 17.
