National Dalit Commission introduces online complaint system

KATHMANDU, Dec 29: The National Dalit Commission (NDC) has launched an online platform for filing complaints related to caste-based discrimination across the country. The system was inaugurated on Monday by Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav.



NDC Chairperson Devaraj Bishwakarma said the initiative aims to make legal remedies more accessible. “We have started the online complaint system to ensure convenience in seeking justice,” he said.

Bishwakarma added that victims of caste-based violence can now submit complaints via mobile devices, providing a faster and more efficient route to justice.


On the same day, the NDC also unveiled its five-year strategic plan to strengthen its efforts in addressing caste-based discrimination.
