KATHMANDU, March 11: Nepal Athletics Association is organizing 40th National Athletics Tournament in Kathmandu from Friday.

Altogether 176 athletes from five development regions and three departmental teams will take part in the three-day tournament that will conclude on Sunday.
11 male and 11 female athletes from all eight teams will vie for 36 gold medals. The organizers informed that the tournament will cost around Rs 1.5 million.
