“Vegetable farming has relived us of the compulsion of working for landlords. We have able to earn good money through sale of vegetables. This has also enabled us to send our children to school,” said Harijan Rishidev.
“Life is good now. We make around Rs 60,000 every month,” said Harijan.
“Had we not taken up vegetable farming, we would not have been living miserably,” said another local Wajit Rishidev.
