BIRGUNJ, Jan 19: The ongoing closed-door session of the Madhesi Peoples´ Rights Forum (MPRF) here has been adjourned until Tuesday morning without selecting party leadership as leaders failed to reach consensus on selecting Central Working Committee leaders until the last minute.
The MPRF had its schedule to conclude the national convention today after selecting party´s new working committee.
The closed door session, begun at 2:00 pm, has however finalized the party´s political paper, party statue and other issues.
An ex-member of CWC said the party has decided to go to election as party leaders failed to reach consensus on selecting central leaders. The existing CWC was dissolved on Sunday. He said the party leaders, however, have no difference over the position of president, vice president, and others.
The party has scheduled to conduct election for new Central Working Committee Tuesday morning.
